Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms the following definitions apply:
Entrepreneur
Two People Artworks V.O.F., trading under the name Barokspiegel.nl, offering products to consumers through distance selling.
Consumer
A natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
Distance contract
An agreement concluded within the framework of a system organised by the entrepreneur for the distance sale of products, whereby exclusive use is made of one or more techniques for distance communication.
Technique for distance communication
A means that can be used to conclude an agreement without the consumer and entrepreneur being in the same place at the same time.
Cooling-off period
The period during which the consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
The possibility for the consumer to cancel the agreement within the cooling-off period.
Day
Calendar day.
Durable data carrier
Any means that enables the consumer or entrepreneur to store information in such a way that it can be consulted in the future.

Article 3 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer.
Article 4 – The offer
The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered.
Images of products are a truthful representation. Because our mirrors are handmade, small variations in colour, texture or size may occur.
Dimensions may vary up to 5 cm per side due to hand craftsmanship.
Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding for the entrepreneur.
Article 5 – The agreement
The agreement is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the conditions set.
After placing an order, the consumer will receive a confirmation by email.
The entrepreneur takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure electronic payments.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving any reason.
After registering the return, the consumer has another 14 days to return the product.

Article 7 – Costs in case of withdrawal
If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, the costs of returning the product are borne by the consumer.
The entrepreneur will refund the full order amount including the original shipping costs within 14 days after the return has been registered, provided the product has been received in good condition.
The product must be returned with all supplied accessories and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging.
If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than necessary to inspect the product, this depreciation may be charged to the consumer. Please handle the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returning it.
Because mirrors are fragile products and require special transport to prevent damage, returns are carried out exclusively via our fixed transport company. This transport is organised by the entrepreneur to guarantee a safe return shipment.
The costs of this transport will be communicated to the consumer in advance and are borne by the consumer.
Returns must always be registered in advance by email via info@barokspiegel.nl. Without prior notification and transport arrangement, a return shipment cannot be accepted.
Article 8 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal (custom products)
The right of withdrawal is excluded for products that are manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications.
According to Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

products manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications
-
products with a clearly personal character
-
products that are specifically made for the consumer
Many of our mirrors are custom made and handcrafted in our atelier in Italy.
Therefore the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
-
mirrors made to custom size
-
mirrors whose dimensions have been adjusted upon request
-
mirrors with customised colours, finishes or ornaments
-
mirrors that are specially produced or ordered for the customer
Because these products are manufactured specifically for the customer, they cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started.
For custom mirrors, the right of withdrawal does not apply in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
If a product is delivered damaged or contains a manufacturing defect, we will always offer an appropriate solution such as replacement or repair.
Article 9 – The price
All prices stated include VAT.
Obvious pricing errors are not binding.
Prices may change due to changes in VAT rates or external cost developments.
Article 10 – Conformity and warranty
The entrepreneur guarantees that the products comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer and reasonable requirements of soundness and usability.
The statutory warranty applies.
Article 11 – Delivery and execution
Orders are delivered within a maximum of 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.
If delivery is delayed, the consumer will be informed in time.
The risk of damage or loss of products remains with the entrepreneur until delivery to the consumer.
For mirrors larger than 0.5 m², a transparent safety backing film is applied as standard.
Article 12 – Payment
Payment must be made using the payment methods offered on the website.
Any inaccuracies in payment details must be reported immediately.
Article 13 – Complaints procedure
It may always happen that something does not go exactly as planned.
We recommend that you first report complaints to us by email:
Complaints will be answered within 14 days after receipt.

All agreements between the entrepreneur and the consumer to which these terms apply are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
